Ruth Foster promoted to Chief People Officer

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Ruth Foster to chief people officer and her appointment as a member of the Board.

Ruth’s impressive career trajectory at Eames started in March 2010 when she joined the business as a principal consultant and team leader to head up the Risk teams contract function. In January 2011 she was promoted to manager of compliance and later in July 2012 she was made partner. Ruth then took an internal move within the business in January 2013 to senior manager of HR and operations. July 2015 saw Ruth be promoted to her most recent role, director of HR and operations before being appointed as a board member in July 2020 and chief people officer in October 2020.

Matthew Eames, founder and CEO shared:

“In recent months Ruth has become increasingly involved in the running of the business, and taking on a much broader remit. I am extremely pleased with this appointment for a number of reasons. Firstly, because the business can benefit from her exceptional experience and knowledge. Also, having worked with the business for a number of years she has a fantastic appreciation of its capability and strong internal relationships. She is also very passionate about all of our employees and our collective success.”

Ruth Foster, chief people officer commented:

I’m delighted to have been appointed to the role of Chief People Officer. Eames is an exceptional business, and I’m hugely passionate about what we have already achieved and what the road ahead looks like. With some exciting projects underway, we’re ready to capitalise on the upwards trajectory that will undoubtedly come in the coming months and years. Our people are everything; they are the backbone of what we do. So, supporting people with being the best they can be, to achieve their individual goals and our collective goals, and to realise our business objectives, is what drives me.”
